Incident at 6700 Bellfort August 14, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6700 Bellfort about 12 a.m. today (Aug. 14). The identity of the victim is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Sosa, L. A. Flores and Officer T. Andrade reported: Officers were dispatched to a shooting at the above location and found the male lying in the median with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. According to witnesses, the victim was seen arguing with a black male and then began walking down the street when gunshots were heard. The victim fell down and the suspect was seen leaving the area in a dark colored 4-door unknown type of vehicle.
