Traffic Incident at 1000 South Lockwood August 22, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 1000 block of South Lockwood about 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 21). The victim is identified as Claudia Viviana Moreno, 27, of 2606 McNay Street in Pasadena. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant L.A. Washington and Officer O.D. Lewis reported: Ms. Moreno was driving a 1995 gray Mazda southbound on South Lockwood at a high rate of speed when she lost control of the vehicle and struck several fixed objects. The Mazda flipped over several times and came to rest against a tree. Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The investigation is continuing.
