Campaign Of Crime, Other Victims Sought

August 28, 2007 - Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in connection with multiple robberies in the River Oaks/Galleria area. In addition, one male juvenile has been referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation Authorities on the same charges.

Taelor Devonae Wright (b/f, DOB: 8-10-90) is arrested and charged with robbery in the 230th State District Court.

Jerard Andrew Williams (b/m, DOB: 9-06-89) is arrested and charged with robbery bodily injury in the 228th State District Court.

Three others, one adult and two juveniles are also believed to be involved.

HPD Robbery Division Sergeant R. Nieto and Officers J. Brieden and J. Michael reported:

Since July 16, 2007, at least 12 separate Aggravated Robberies have occurred in the River Oaks/Galleria area involving the suspects listed above. The Method of operands is the same in each of these cases: the victims are robbed at either gunpoint, knifepoint or some are strong-armed in a parking lot. The suspects take bags, purses, vehicles and money from the victim.

Monday, July 30 at 2:00 a.m. - 5701 Schumacher (apartment parking lot)
Monday, August 6 at 8:00 p.m. - 5656 San Felipe (apartment parking lot)
Tuesday, August 7 at 11:30 p.m. - 2020 Westcreek (apartment parking lot)
Wednesday, August 8 at 10:10 p.m. - 2300 Midlane (apartment parking lot)
Wednesday, August 8 at 10:20 p.m. - 2109 Bancroft (apartment parking lot)
Wednesday, August 8 at 10:30 p.m. - 3100 Cummins (apartment parking lot)
Wednesday, August 8 at 7:30 p.m. - 1455 W. Loop S (Commercial parking lot)
Thursday, August 9 at 5:30 p.m. - 4265 San Felipe (apartment parking lot)
Saturday, August 11 at 6:45 p.m. - 4000 Westheimer (Commercial parking lot)
Tuesday, August 21 at 10:35 p.m. - 2220 Westcreek (apartment parking lot)
Wednesday, August 22 at 12:15 a.m. - 4444 Westheimer (apartment parking lot)

Thursday, August 23 at 7:20 p.m. - 7400 Bellerive

At 2 p.m. TODAY (Tuesday, August 28), an investigator with the Robbery Division will be available to answer questions in this case in the media briefing room on the first floor of the HPD Headquarters at 1200 Travis.
