Surveillance Photos of Robbery Suspect

December 5, 2007 - Houston police robbery investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying one of two suspects photographed by a surveillance camera during a robbery at a Pizza Hut restaurant at 10886 Beechnut about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 1).

The suspect is described as a black male between 22 and 24 years of age, about 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a long-sleeve gray shirt underneath, and was armed with a silver small caliber handgun. The surveillance photos are attached to this news release.

A second suspect (not videotaped) is described as a black male, 22 to 24 years of age, about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt and was also armed with a small caliber handgun.

An employee returned from a pizza delivery and was met at the back door (employee entrance) by the two suspects. The suspects pointed their guns at the employee, robbed him of cash and ordered him to open the door. An employee inside the store heard the driver at the back and opened the door. The suspects then pushed the driver inside and continued to rob the restaurant, taking money from the safe and registers. After the robbery, the suspects were seen leaving in an unknown type, black four-door vehicle.

Anyone with information on the identity of the photographed suspect or in this case is urged to contact HPD Westside Robbery Division Officer C. Guidry at 281-584-4761 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
