Several family members of the suspect (Demouchet) received phone calls from him throughout Saturday evening in which he voiced his intentions of killing his girlfriend and himself. Demouchet’s sister spoke with him on his cell phone and discovered he was outside her (sister’s) residence on Seville. During their conversation, Demouchet warned his sister not to come outside or he would kill his girlfriend and himself. Demouchet’s sister went outside to see what was going on and noticed Demouchet and his girlfriend sitting inside his vehicle. Seconds later, Demouchet’s sister heard gunshots. Another one of Demouchet’s sisters ran to the car and opened the passenger side door to find the two had been shot. Family members called for an ambulance and, soon after, paramedics pronounced both Ms. Perez and Demouchet dead at the scene.
