Incident at 8100 Shreveport December 19, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8100 Shreveport sometime between the hours of 3 and 6 a.m. The victim sustained gunshot wounds to the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Elliott and Senior Police Officer R. Swainson reported: Witnesses stated they heard gunshots during the early morning hours near the intersection of Shreveport and Orville. Witnesses told police they saw the victim lying on the shoulder of the road in the 8100 block of Shreveport.
