Incident at 1990 Campbell December 21, 2007 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man at 1990 Campbell about 4:55 p.m. on Thursday (Dec. 20). The suspect, Samuel Damico (w/m, DOB: 9-7-50), is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. Damico fled the scene in a 1993 four-door Buick with Texas handicapped license plates 2YZLS. Damico is wanted in the killing of the 49-year-old male victim whose identity is being withheld pending notification to his family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. The victim suffered a stab wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital. HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Khan and T. Pool reported: Officers responded to a stabbing call at the Campbell Road Mini Warehouse and saw paramedics treating the victim. Witnesses told investigators the victim and Damico had argued outside of an office and got into a physical altercation in which Damico stabbed the victim.
