Update on Incident at 1990 Campbell December 22, 2007 - Houston police have taken into custody a suspect wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man at 1990 Campbell on December 20, 2007. The suspect, Samuel Damico (w/m, DOB: 9-7-50), is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. Damico fled the scene in a 1993 four-door Buick with Texas handicapped license plates 2YZLS. Officers of the Northwest Tactical Unit arrested him on December 21 without further incident. Damico was wanted in the killing of Timothy McMichael, 49, who suffered a stab wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital. HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Khan and T. Pool reported: Officers responded to a stabbing call at the Campbell Road Mini Warehouse and saw paramedics treating the victim. Witnesses told investigators the victim and Damico had argued outside of an office and got into a physical altercation in which Damico stabbed the victim.
