Incident at 6650 Bellfort December 28, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6650 Bellfort about 10:50 p.m. on Thursday (Dec. 27). The victim, 23, suffered a gunshot wound to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer B. D. Evans and Officer E.R. Carstens reported: Customers entered the K.K. Food Store on Bellfort and found the clerk lying on the floor. HFD personnel arrived and pronounced the victim dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Investigators believe through initial information received, robbery may have been the motive in the shooting.
