Incident at 5110 Wilmington

February 2, 2007 --Charges are pending against a suspect arrested in the shooting of a woman at 5110 Wilmington #4 about 4:15 p.m. on Thursday (Feb. 1).

The suspect, Kenneth Davis (b/m, DOB 11/8/68), remains in custody.

The victim, Tjuana LaShon Varnado, 33, of 5110 Wilmington #4 suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.C. Padilla and Officer M. Khan reported:

Davis contacted police and reported he had just killed his wife. Patrol officers arrived and found the victim dead inside the residence.
