Incident at 3300 Winbern

February 5, 2007 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 3300 Winbern on February 4, 2007 about 9:10 p.m.

The victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Wyers and Officer B.W. Nabors reported:

A witness told police that a shot was heard and then the unknown male was seen lying on a sidewalk at the Cuney Homes Apartment complex. He sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
