Traffic Incident at 1700 Berry Road

January 2, 2007 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 1700 block of Berry Road about 12:45 p.m. on Monday (January 1).

The male victim's identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant G.T. Hall and Officer J. Nickell reported:

The male was found in a ditch, apparently the victim of a hit-and-run accident.

There are no known witnesses at this time.
