Incident at 6600 Harbor Town

January 20, 2007 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6600 Harbor Town about 9:50 p.m. on Friday (Jan. 19).

The victim is identified as Guang Hua Shen, 57. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Officers T. Andrade and E. Carstens reported:

Mr. Shen was picking up his wife at a bus stop when two males armed with guns got out of a dark sedan and approached him. One or both of the males, whose faces were covered, fired multiple times at Shen and then fled in an unknown direction.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s) in this case.
