Traffic Incident at 16000 Eastex Freeway Service Road July 8, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 16000 Eastex Freeway Service Road at Greens Road on Saturday (July 7) about 12:15 p.m. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant N.A. Perry and Officer D. Schlichter reported: A blue Ford Explorer was travelling southbound on the Eastex Freeway Service Road when it struck a green Geo Prizm, which was travelling, westbound on Greens Road. The driver of the Explorer was transported to Northeast Medical Center by HFD in unknown condition. The driver and passenger of the Prizm were pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is continuing to determine which one of the vehicles ran the red light at the intersection.
