Incident at 1806 South Dairy Ashford July 9, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1806 South Dairy Ashford on Sunday (July 8) about 11:30 p.m. The victim, Ahmed Oscar Zuri, 17, of 12939 Avenida Vaquero, sustained a gunshot wound in the left chest area and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H.R. Hernandez and Officer P.J. Guerrero reported: Witnesses stated that Mr. Zuri was at the Sonic Drive-in when he entered into a confrontation with another male. Mr. Zuri walked up to the male’s vehicle and fired a weapon at him. The male fired back at Mr. Zuri, striking him fatally. Investigation is continuing.
