Composite Sketch of Unidentified Victim Re-Released

March 6, 2007 -- Houston police homicide investigators are re-releasing a composite sketch of an unidentified female found at 2000 Del Norte about 8:30 a.m. on June 30, 2006 in hopes someone in the public can help identify her.

The female, whose body was in an advanced state of decomposition, is possibly Asian, 30 to 35 years old, and 5 feet 3 to 5 feet 8 inches tall. She has borne at least one child in her life. A three-dimensional model of the female’s facial area as well as two reconstructed composite sketches, one depicting her with a smile, were originally released to the media on November 14, 2006.

A truck driver working in the area discovered a decomposing body lying in a ditch in the 2000 block of Del Norte on June 30, 2006.

Despite following up on numerous leads in this case, investigators have yet to receive information on the woman’s identity.

Anyone with information on the possible identity of the female is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
