Incident at 5570 Gasmer November 1, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5570 Gasmer about 1:45 a.m. today (November 1). The male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the middle back and lower neck and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. D. Shirley and M. McStravick reported: A resident of the Piccadilly Apartments heard a gunshot outside of his apartment, looked out of a window and observed the victim lying on a set of stairs between apartments. Officers and HFD personnel responded to the scene and found the victim deceased.
