Traffic Incident at 1200 Clear Lake City Boulevard November 9, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 1200 block of Clear Lake City Boulevard about 10:55 a.m. today (November 9). The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant G.T. Hall and Officer O. D. Lewis reported: The driver of an armored vehicle and his passenger were traveling east on Clear Lake City Boulevard when a black Acura pulled out of the parking lot of a shopping center onto Clear Lake City Blvd. The armored vehicle swerved to avoid hitting the Acura, struck the center median, clipped some trees and hit the curb. The vehicle then struck a parked truck and overturned. The driver of the armored vehicle was killed and his passenger suffered non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Acura was not injured.
