Incident at 7221 Harwin

October 22, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7221 Harwin about 3 a. m. on Sunday (October 21).

The male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and died at 6100 Stoney Brook. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office.

HPD Homicide Division Officers C. T. Hufstedler and A. J. Palos reported:

Officers responded to a dead on arrival call and observed the victim lying in the street, at the 6100 block of Stoney Brook, with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Further investigation determined the victim and his brothers were at a local cantina located at 7221 Harwin when they got into a physical altercation with a group of unknown males inside the men’s restroom and then continued into the parking lot.

Gunshots heard from inside the club and evidence at the scene determined the victim was shot at the club and later died at 6100 Stoney Brook.

The suspects are described only as Hispanic males.
