Incident at 1400 Tralle October 28, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1400 Tralle, today (October 28, 2007) about 1:50 a.m. The victim is identified as William Tyrome Hughes, 29, of 1405 ½ Waco Street. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the back and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Officers J. Selvera and D. Vasquez reported: Witnesses stated they heard shots. HPD patrol officers were dispatched to the scene where they observed Mr. Hughes laying on the side of the street. Investigators observed a bicycle at the scene that appears to have belonged to Mr. Hughes. An autopsy will be performed by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. The investigation is ongoing and at this time the motive for the shooting is unknown. No suspects have been identified.
