Update on Incident at 11800 City Park Central September 10, 2007 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man fatally stabbed at 11800 City Park Central about 1:20 a.m. last Friday (Sept. 7). The Harris County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the victim as James L. DeWald, 33. He suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. A murder charge was filed against Mr. DeWald’s wife, Kristen Elaine DeWald (w/f, DOB: 12-5-68), in the 174th State District Court. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. McStravick, W.J. Anthony and Officers J.L. Coffelt and D.W. Arnold reported: Mr. DeWald and his wife were inside their apartment when the wife stabbed James DeWald numerous times. Officers responded to the location and placed Kristen DeWald into custody. She provided a statement to investigators and was then charged in the incident.
