Suspect Fatally Shot at 10517 Foy Lane
August 4, 2008 - The fatal shooting of a male suspect and wounding of two other male suspects involved in a robbery at 10517 Foy Lane on Sunday (August 3) about 6:50 a.m. will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The male suspect suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. Two other suspects also suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to area hospitals in unknown conditions with charges pending.
The robbery victim, Sergio Rodriguez, 47, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in unknown condition.

The armed suspects, described only as four Hispanic males, approached Rodriguez at a family operated roofing company at 10517 Foy Lane as he opened at about 6:50 a.m. As Rodriguez was cooperating with the suspects’ demands, he was shot while being robbed. Rodriguez was able to retrieve a weapon of his own and returned fire, striking three of the suspects, and killing one.
The investigation is continuing.
