Suspect Identified in Fatal Shooting at 3900 Noble

August 20, 2008 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man found in the 3900 block of Noble about 12:30 p.m. on Monday (August 18).

The suspect, Robert Taylor Williams (b/m, DOB: 7-7-71), is charged with murder in the 339th State District Court and is currently at large.

The victim, 32, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. J. Brooks and Senior Police Officer M. F. Waters III reported:

The victim and Williams got into an argument and at some point, the victim was shot several times. He was found on the railroad tracks near the 3900 block of Noble.

Williams fled the scene on foot.
