Fatal Traffic Accident at Fulton and Berry Road February 18, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at the intersection of Fulton and Berry Road about 8:40 a.m. on Sunday (February 17). The victim, identified as Earnesteen Parker, 81, was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital where she later died. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant P. Casares and Officer D. Schlichter reported: Ms. Parker was driving a red Cadillac Deville south on Fulton and entered the intersection at Berry Road when she was struck on the driver’s side door by a Hummer traveling west on Berry Road. The Cadillac continued off the roadway and struck a light pole. There were no outside witnesses to the accident, and according to the driver of the Hummer, the Cadillac ran the red light. It is unknown at this time if the impact of the accident caused Ms. Parker’s death or if she had a medical condition prior to the impact. The investigation is continuing.
