Incident at 11960 Airline Drive January 07, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11960 Airline Drive about 5:50 a.m. on Sunday (January 6). The male victim, 21, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cruz and Officer T. Andrade reported: The victim and three unidentified persons were in the parking lot of the North Gate Apartments when a male suspect distracted them. While speaking with this suspect, a second suspect attempted to rob the group at gunpoint. During the struggle, the victim was shot. The suspects, described only as three black males, fled eastbound on Aldine Bender in an unknown white vehicle.
