Incident at 10800 Cheeves Drive January 10, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 10800 Cheeves Drive about 12:15 a.m. today (January 10). The victim, Christian Davis, 26, of 6502 Rosemary, suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.D. Shirley and Officer R. Trevino reported: Mr. Davis was walking with a friend in the 10800 block of Cheeves Drive when a vehicle approached them from behind. The friend, not knowing who was in the car, continued to walk, but turned around after hearing an argument to see Davis fighting with the driver of the car. Moments later, Davis staggered away as the suspect got back into his car and drove away north bound on Cheeves Drive. The friend approached Davis after he (Davis) fell to the ground and found him unresponsive. Friend then called paramedics from a nearby store. The suspect’s vehicle is described only as a tan, four-door sedan. There is no description of the suspect at this time.
