Incident at 10211 Sugar Branch January 12, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10211 Sugar Branch Drive about 4:30 p.m. on Friday (Jan. 11). The victim, 22, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital. His name is being withheld pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants C.M. Cegielski and E.B. Cisneros reported: The victim and a female were walking through the parking lot of an apartment complex when they were approached by two males, who began shooting at the victim. The female ran from the area and was not injured. The suspects are described only as two black males in their early 20s.
