Wills and Vincent were passengers in a vehicle taking part in a drive-by shooting at a rival group of individuals. Vincent was in the front seat and Wills was in the back seat as they both fired shots at the rival group. As Wills and Vincent shot at the group, Vincent shot Wills. Vincent then drove the vehicle to a friend’s residence and transported Wills to the hospital in a different vehicle, dropping him off in the parking lot outside the emergency room.
The victim, Wills, was wanted and charged with murder in the 228th State District Court for his role in the fatal shooting of Jackie Louis Morris, 22, on March 25, 2007 at 12500 Alief Clodine.
