Fatal Shooting at 6000 Sunforest

July 15, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the 6000 block of Sunforest about 10:15 p.m. on Monday (July 14).

The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants A. Carillo, J. Rubio, J. M. De La Cruz, and W. M. Bush and Senior Police Officer H. A. Chavez reported:

The victim and an unknown suspect got into a physical fight earlier in the day. The victim went to another part of the apartment complex after the fight. The suspect later approached the victim, shot him several times, and then fled the scene.
