Fatal Shooting at 10200 Sugar Branch

July 23, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10200 Sugar Branch about 11:25 p.m. on Tuesday (July 22).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Rubio and P. LeBlanc reported:

The victim was at a family party at the Forum Park III apartments at 10211 Sugar Branch and intended to ride his bicycle to an area corner store to purchase some items. He was shot multiple times while on a sidewalk at 10200 Sugar Branch. It is unknown if he was shot prior to after his ride to the store.

There are no known witnesses, suspect or motive in the shooting at this time.
