Fatal Traffic Accident at 6400 North Wayside June 6, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 6400 block of North Wayside about 3:55 a.m. today. The male victim, 38, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant S.R. Sorge and Officer A. Alaniz reported: The victim was driving a black Ford F-250 pickup truck north on North Wayside when he swerved to the right, went off the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The pickup truck then went to the left of the roadway and struck a tree. There were no other vehicles involved in this accident and the investigation is continuing. |
