Woman Found Dead at 2625 Reed Road

June 11, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 2625 Reed Road about 6:45 a.m. today.

The victim is believed to be between 25 and 35 years of age. Her identity and cause of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Wyers and Senior Police Officer R. Martinez reported:

Construction workers discovered the victim’s body in a field adjacent to their work site and called police and paramedics.

The victim is described as a black female with a medium build and straight, medium-length black hair with red highlights. She was wearing a blue and black reversible basketball jersey with the words “Mustangs” and “Basketball,” along with the numbers “31” (in black) and “1997” (in gray) on the shirt. She was also wearing blue jean type shorts or skirt and white tube socks, in addition to two silver colored loop earrings in each ear.
