Man Found Dead at 12485 Gulf Freeway

June 16, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results of a man found dead at 12485 Gulf Freeway about 2:10 p.m. on Saturday (June 14).

The victim, identified as Ronald S. Taylor, 59, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene. He had blackening bruises around both of his eyes, but no other visible injuries. His cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

HPD Homicide Division Officers T.T. Pool and M.A. Khan reported:

Mr. Taylor was found on the floor of a motel room by one of the business' employees. The room was in disarray, with blood found throughout it. There were no signs of forced entry, but there appeared to be signs of a struggle inside the room.

There are no known witnesses or suspect(s) at this time.
