Fatal Accident at 2600 North Freeway March 17, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 2600 North Freeway (Interstate 45 North) about 1:15 p.m. on Sunday (March 16). The female victim, Angelena Cavallaro, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer Y. Bashir reported: The driver of a Harley Davidson motorcycle, with his wife, Ms. Cavallaro, as the passenger, was traveling north in the far right lane of the North Freeway when an unknown vehicle swerved from the left lane into the motorcycle’s lane. The motorcycle rider slammed on his brakes and the motorcycle went to the ground. The motorcycle and Ms. Cavallaro then struck a parked blue Chevrolet Lumina. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. The investigation is continuing.
