Auto-Pedestrian Fatality at 6300 East Freeway March 19, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 6300 block of the East Freeway (Interstate 10 East) service road about 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday (March 18). The victim, pedestrian Ronald Peter Septelka, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant J. A. Calley and Officer S. Johnson reported: Mr. Septelka attempted to cross the westbound service road of the East Freeway and was struck by a 2006 green Saturn. The driver of the vehicle was not injured in this accident.
