Investigators Seek Help Identifying Robbery Suspects

May 07, 2008 - Houston police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three robbery suspects captured on video surveillance from a robbery at 5901 Westheimer about 11:15 a.m. on Monday (May 5).

The suspects are described only as three black males.

HPD Westside Robbery Division Officer S. Hendrie reported:

Two suspects entered the Eagle Jewelry store located at 5901 Westheimer and posed as shoppers. After assisting the suspects, the store manager turned her attention to another customer in the store. The suspects then attacked and pointed guns at the manager and customer, threatening them before they (the suspects) forced the victims to lie on the ground. The two suspects inside the store then allowed a third suspect to enter the business through a rear business door. The suspects stole a large amount of jewelry and cash from the business.

Anyone with information on the identities of the wanted suspects is urged to contact the HPD Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

A DVD copy of the surveillance video can be obtained from Officer S. Hendrie of the Westside Robbery Division at 3203 South Dairy Ashford (Westside Patrol Station). Officer Hendrie is available for interviews and can be reached at 281-923-1649.
