Fatal Shooting at 8000 Creekbend Drive

November 12, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8000 Creekbend Drive about 10 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 11).

The victim, Maurice Henderson, 35, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Howard and Officer E. Schmidt reported:

Mr. Henderson was involved in a disturbance with a group of people that led to a physical confrontation. Henderson approached the unknown suspect, who shot him and then fled on foot.
