Suspect Sought in Shooting at 3809 Southlawn

October 13, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 3809 Southlawn about noon on Sunday (Oct. 12).

The victim, Jonesha Senegal, 18, of Houston, was wounded in the leg and transported to an area hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.R. McGalin and Officer D.W. Arnold reported:

Ms. Senegal and a friend were involved in an altercation with several other individuals in front of the apartment complex at 3809 Southlawn. During the confrontation, a female suspect shot Senegal and then fled the scene with the others in her group.

The wanted suspect is described only as a dark-complected black female with long black hair. She is 35 to 40 years old, 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 200 pounds.
