Investigation Into Male's Shooting Death at 2033 Mangum

April 8, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the shooting death of a male at 2033 Mangum about 12:50 a.m. today.

The victim was shot multiple times in the torso and died at the scene.  His identity is being withheld pending positive identification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Senior Police Officer H. Chavez reported:

Three young black males entered the Black Widow Tattoo parlor and robbed the three customers inside.  The tattoo parlor’s artist/owner intervened and was shot to death. 

The two of the three male suspects covered their faces with bandanas and all were dressed in dark clothing.

The suspects are believed to have fled the scene in a white four-door Cadillac with dark tinted windows and chrome wheels.
