Investigation Into Infant's Death at 9152 Lazydale

April 13, 2009 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of an infant at 9152 Lazydale about 7 a.m. Saturday (Apr. 11).

The female victim, Kennzie Benjamin, two months of age, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. McGalin and Senior Police Officer T. Miller reported:

Baby Kennzie's parents found her unresponsive and attempted to perform CPR with no results. The preliminary investigation showed no signs of apparent trauma.

The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office will determine baby Kennzie's cause of death.
