Fatal Traffic Accident at 8700 F.M. 1960

April 27, 2009 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 8700 F.M. 1960 about 6:55 a.m. on Sunday (Apr. 26). 

The victim, Thi Lam, 64, of Houston was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Senior Police Officer D. Schlichter reported: 

A Ford F150 pickup truck was traveling westbound on F.M. 1960 when it struck a Mercedes E420, driven by Ms. Lam. Lam was making a westbound turn onto F.M. 1960 from Deerbrook Park Boulevard. The driver of the Ford pickup was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
