Investigation into Male’s Death at 4100 West Little York

December 31, 2009 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found in the 4100 block of West Little York about 8:45 a.m. today (Dec. 31).

The male victim, age unknown, suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity and cause of death is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.M. Cegielski and Senior Police Officer A. J. Palos reported:

Patrol officers and HFD emergency personnel responded to a traffic accident at West Little York and found the victim’s vehicle had driven off the road and struck a telephone pole. Several passers-by stopped to help and called 9-1-1. Further examination of the victim by HFD determined he had suffered a possible gunshot wound. Homicide investigators were then called to the scene.
