Investigation into Deceased Male Found at 2500 Wall Street

July 6, 2009 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found unconscious in the 2500 block of Wall Street about 2:35 a.m. on Monday (July 6).

The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital and was later pronounced dead.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W.L. Meeler and Officers R.T. Figueroa reported:

Patrol officers and HFD paramedics responded to the 2500 block of Wall Street and found the victim nearly unconscious with shallow breathing.  He was transported to the hospital where he was provided treatment but later died.  At this time, foul play is not suspected.  

The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine cause of death.
