Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 13030 Northborough Drive

September 14, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 13030 Northborough Drive about 10:50 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 13).

The victim, Ernest Wayne Steadman, 29, of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.J. Brooks and Senior Police Officer R.W. Chappell reported:

Mr. Steadman answered a knock at his apartment door and stepped outside. The suspects made demands and then shot Mr. Steadman. The suspects fled the scene.

The suspects are described only as two to three black males between 20 and 30 years old.
