Fatal Shooting at 5702 Rampart September 21, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two males at 5702 Rampart about 9:30 a.m. on Friday (Sept. 18). The identities of the two male victims, 22 and 23 years of age, are pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Gonzales and Senior Police Officers C.T. Hufstedler, R. Chappell and A. Palos reported: The victims were sitting on a stairway at the Peachtree Apartments when they were approached by at least two Hispanic male suspects. The two unknown suspects fired several shots in the direction of the two victims, striking and killing both of them.
