Fatal Traffic Accident at 14000 South Main April 12, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 14000 block of South Main Street about 12:20 a.m. on Saturday (Apr. 10). The male victim, a pedestrian, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant I. Izaguirre and Officer D. Ashford reported: The driver of a blue Chrysler Concord was traveling southbound on South Main when he struck the victim, who was crossing the street. The driver of the Concord immediately stopped and called 9-1-1. No charges have been filed at this time and the investigation is continuing.
