Investigation Into Fatal Shooting at 1100 Milby

April 26, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1100 Milby about 1:25 a.m. on Sunday (April 25).

The male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.J. Wilson and Officer M.F. Stahlin reported:

The victim was sitting in the passenger seat of a car stopped in the 1100 block of Milby waiting for a train to pass. While sitting there, two unknown males approached the car. One of the males then shot the victim. The driver turned and fled to the intersection of Milby and McKinney where emergency personnel were called.
