Fatal Shooting at 11911 Martin Luther King Boulevard


August 2, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11911 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 4:20 p.m. on Sunday (August 1).

The victim, Eric Pink, 24, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the back and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Williams and Officers M. Brady and J. Burton reported:

Patrol officers responded to a shooting at the Park Texas Apartments and found a deceased male (Pink) lying in the parking lot. He had been shot. Futher investigation and witness statements determined there had been a disturbance in front of Mr. Pink's apartment with at least one unknown male. A short time later, witnesses heard gunshots and saw an unknown male flee the apartment.

The suspect is described only as a black male.
