Officers responded to an auto-pedestrian accident in the 7900 block of Park Place at the intersection of 3900 Colgate. Witnesses stated a male pedestrian attempted to cross the intersection using a walker, and on several occasions, stopped in the middle of the roadway while vehicles passed by. The driver of a white Ford Escape, traveling eastbound on Park Place, hit the pedestrian. The driver stated that due to bad weather, wet roads and poor lighting, he did not see the pedestrian.
