Man Found Fatally Shot at 2200 Riverside

July 7, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 2200 Riverside about 6:40 a.m. today (July 7). 

The victim, Casey D. Reed, 43, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound and was pornounced dead at the scene. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Parker and Senior Police Officer S. Straughter reported: 

Patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above location and found Mr. Reed deceased, lying on the side of street.  He had been shot. 

There are no known witnesses nor suspects at this time.
